My Story
A native Texan, Todd has always been in contact with Spanish, but didn’t start studying the language seriously until he began his undergraduate degree. After a few courses, a wise study abroad coordinator suggested an immersion program in Córdoba, Argentina that completely redirected the course of his life. The seven months Todd spent studying and working there gave him a deep appreciation for the connective power of language and travel.
Since that transformative trip, he has visited over 15 countries; most notably spending a year teaching English in southern Spain. Todd brings a robust curiosity and love of learning to the classroom — not to mention significant real world experience. He holds a B.A. in Music Education from Stephen F. Austin State University.
When not teaching Spanish at FLC, Todd keeps himself busy with various music projects and mountains of books.
